Getting Married on the Strip?
There are some things you should know before you book. Depending on which hotel you are getting married at, you may or may not be able to choose your own photographer. This doesn't mean you can't book me but it may mean that I may not be able to shoot your ceremony.
Rules about the Strip
The Strip has hotels that have their own photography for their chapels. Depending on the venue, some hotels will allow you to pay an additional charge for an outside photographer, some will let you bring an outside photographer for no charge, while others will not allow any outside photography at all. This is because the Strip is private property and can control who can and can't take photos.
What hotels allow photos?
Some hotels like Caesar's properties are more relaxed about photos and can have outside photographers if requested through the venue. MGM properties have an exclusive contract with their own photographers and will not allow outside photography.
What if outside photos aren't allowed?
If no outside photography is allowed, I may not be able to photograph your wedding ceremony. I can photograph a romantic session with you after the ceremony is done at nearby locations.
Not sure if your venue allows outside photography?
Contact me and I will let you know what the official rules are for your venue. I have worked at almost every venue up and down the Strip for years. If I don't know the answer I can find it out for you.
